General Information

John Knox Presbyterian Church
will be celebrating 60 years in the community in 2023!

Our mission is to know and honor God and follow the Son while loving and serving others.

We are a friendly family-oriented congregation that welcomes new faces.
Our Sunday service, at 9:30 a.m., is Biblically-based and features both
traditional and contemporary music. There's Sunday School for kids and teens
with nursery care for little ones.

After worship, we have a fellowship hour that offers
coffee and refreshment time to meet and connect with others.
For Safety we recommend that all wear masks for indoor Worship.

You can also watch our church service on Facebook Live via our JKPC Facebook Page
and all recordings can be found on our JKPC YouTube Channel

Children's Emergency Food Bank
The Food Bank operates from the church site and is run by volunteers.
It provides food for those in need living in the Tri-Valley. Contact them at (925) 828-5363 for assistance or to make donations. To learn more information, and to read their update, click here.

Weddings
We love having our facility used for Christian weddings.
The sanctuary has beautiful stained glass windows and a center aisle.
Your first step should be to contact the office at jkpcrene@att.net
You will need to provide your preferred wedding date and time, and we will confirm that our sanctuary and that the Wedding Coordinator, herself or Lisa Locus, are available. Should you wish to use your own Christian pastor, we can usually accommodate your request. If you are interested in more information and rates, please contact the church office.

Memorials
This is usually a period of great stress for families, we'd like to help provide support during this time.
We are glad to make the sanctuary available for both memorial and funeral services.
Please contact the pastor and the church office to discuss arrangements, service options, fees, etc.
Should you wish to use your own pastor, we can usually accommodate your request.
The Fellowship Hall may be used for receptions following a service, subject to its availability.
Please contact us to discuss further.

Facility Usage
Our facility is a busy one. We have a preschool that meets daily on our site, as well as a food bank
and many outside groups (AA, Scouts, Jobs Daughters, and more) that regularly meet on the campus.
We are grateful that Heavenly Grace Church shares our campus on Sundays.

Though the facility is used quite fully, should your group need a meeting location,
feel free to contact the church office to check for availability. Your first step should be to contact Tracy Hong our facility coordinator, at jkpcrene@att.net
