Maundy Thursday Service
Thursday, April 18 at 7 p.m.

A night to behold. A night that was the portal to the new covenant. A night where celebration turned into chaos and songs of praise turned into cries of lament. It was a night to remember, but not for the reasons the disciples expected.

Come join us as we walk through the words of Jesus at the last supper from an eye witness account.  It will be a night of anticipation, intrigue, and the actual beginning of the never ending story of redemption in the heart of at least one disciple. Hear about his thoughts, words and actions on a night of unexpected drama. This is the first communion for the disciples of Jesus. Communion will be served to the congregation too.

Good Friday Service
Friday,
April 19 at 7:30 p.m.

This night is not for the faint hearted. This night we will explore the sacrifice Jesus made from a human point of view.  We will hear about the punishment Jesus received so we could be healed.
We will step back in time as a witness of what it meant for him to take on the sins of the world.
This night will help us appreciate the startling sunrise just a few days hence when the resurrection tips the scale from despair to dancing, from hopelessness to hopefulness, from shackles to celebration. Come and walk with us through the darkness toward the light which will break across the horizon of our world.

Defying all odds, Jesus was raised from the dead, but that was not the end of God’s miracle. God is with us every day, so when we find ourselves in a grave, God is there to lift us back out. God is there to roll away the stone so we aren’t imprisoned by our faults, failures or fears. Every day we are given new life, a life to celebrate who God is making us to be and a life that we can share with others.

Join us to celebrate the day God Surprised the World. There will be Easter crafts and Easter Egg Fun during Sunday school!

There will be Easter Refreshments and Fellowship between the two services from 9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
