There was SNOW  (and SLIME) at the Knights of North Castle VBS!

Today the Kids were able to Armor up with PEACE today.

We are streaming the opening assembly on our JKPC Facebook Page at 9 a.m. each morning!  (Please "Like " our JKPC FB Page is you can to share the fun!)

The kids are doing a great job memorizing the Bible Verse: Be Strong in the Lord and in His Strength of His Power! Ephesians 6:10. The older kids have even learned some extra verses!

Today's Bible Story was the very First Christmas - Jesus' birth!  So it was lots of fun with the surprise Snow!!   The kids are enjoying working on their activity books during class time, too!

 The kids had fun making snow slime!  Here is the Recipe:
Recipe for Snow Slime:   
1/4 cup Elmer’s School Glue
Glitter (As much as you want)
Pinch of Baking Soda
Contact Lens solution ( depends on slime)
1. Add glue and glitter, mix
2. Add baking soda and contact lens solution as needed
3. Enjoy

The painted cross ceramic bowls will be sent home tomorrow.

 The kids loved singing and dancing to the songs - keep listening to the music at home whether on the CD or the audio files on our website. The kids are invited to show off their singing to all on Sunday! 

Snacks were muffins with watermelon. Tomorrow's snack is Mac 'n' cheese with Blue Jello  in case kids with allergies want to bring their own similar snack).

Reminder for Kids to bring their own Water Bottles, wear Sunscreen and wear their VBS Shirts & Necklaces. 

Also don't forget to bring some food for the Children's Emergency Food Bank - CLICK HERE for most needed foods. And we are also collecting old/broken crayons for the Crayon Initiative. 

Tomorrow we will Armor up with Faith! There may be some water play during recreation!
