JKPC - Women’s Ministries - Autumn 2017
JKPC Women’s Ministries provides Fun, Fellowship, and Service to our JKPC family and others in our community. If you have ideas you would like to share please contact JoAnn Parker, so we can get your event on the church calendar and you can start your planning. Young women are encouraged to attend!

Friday, August 18 from 6-8 p.m.
Get ready for winter early! Come to our LEARN TO KNIT class and be ready for Christmas with scarves for everyone! We’ll learn the basics tonight then have monthly follow ups for perfecting our skills. We’ll meet in Fellowship Hall (or possibly Library).

Friday, September 15 from 6-8 p.m.
Come Learn to Can! On a small scale we’ll be refining or learning a new skill!  We’re not surewhat we’ll be canning but come prepared for FUN!!!  (You might want to bring an apron!)

Brunch at Sue Fox’s Home
Saturday, September 30 at 10 a.m.
Please bring a favorite family recipe to share (and a recipe card that we will keep and copy). Please RSVP to Sue, so she will have enough seating.

Friday, October 20 from 6-8 p.m.
Tonight we will learn to make DECORATIVE PLATES for autumn by decoupaging fabric on the back of plates. A very elegant looking outcome with minimal talent required (I know because I’ve made them!) There will be a cost of somewhere between $3 and $5 per plate so please RSVP in order to have adequate supplies.  Please RSVP to JoAnn Parker by Thursday, October 19th indicating how many plates you wish to make (time wise 2 is probably your limit but you can always go home and make a box full!)

Saturday, November 4 at 2 p.m.
This event will be benefiting the Children’s Food Bank. This year it will be held at San Ramon’s Community Center Fountain Room, 12501 Alcosta Blvd. San Ramon. Our inspirational performer this year is Staci Frenes.  Check out her web site for more Information:

Friday, November 17 at 5:30 p.m.
Join us with Joan McGrady-Beach as we make holiday cards for our shut ins.  You’ll be SO happy with the outcome you’ll want to go home and make a box for yourself.
